Music At St. Mary’s will present The Voices of Ohio in concert on March 20 at 3 p.m. While Music At St. Mary’s has hosted Southern State Singers concerts every year, you’ll find The Voices of Ohio a different style of vocal group.

The Voices of Ohio is a dynamic, exciting, professional adult vocal show group that performs a wide variety of contemporary and traditional music. Their repertoire includes music that celebrates the American heritage and spirit, with a variety of pop, rock, country, show tunes, songs of faith and patriotic music.

During the past four decades, members of The Voices of Ohio have entertained millions of people. They have delighted audiences throughout the world, be it the Grand Concert Halls of Europe, the White House Rose Garden, “The Great White Way” in New York City, or in the prestigious “Tournament of Roses Parade.”

Their talented members represent several generations and come from all walks of life. As diverse as the music they perform, it is their love of music which has brought them together for your entertainment pleasure. The director of VOH is Girrard Stewart who was born in Chicago, Illinois, but has been an Ohioan since the age of two, when he moved with his family to Orrville, Ohio.

Many of the members of The Voices of Ohio are alumni of the All-Ohio Youth Choir and have continued to enjoy singing throughout their adult years. Representing Highland County in this group is Jeff Hadley who lives in Greenfield.

As all Music At St. Mary’s concert series performances, this is presented at no admittance charge. MASM exists on donations received following the concerts and from contributions from supporters of fine music and excellent performances. Please plan to attend this concert. You won’t be disappointed.

The concert will be followed by a meet and greet reception in Lacy Hall. For more information on Music At St. Mary’s, visit http://masmhillsboro.weebly.com.
