Mowrystown Lions Club raises funds for outreach projects

A big thank you to Kibler Lumber in Mt. Orab for letting the Mowrystown Lions Club participate in the community cookout fundraiser this past Saturday. The club raised more than $370 to be used for outreach projects in and around the Bright Local School District area.

A special thanks District 13 Ohio 6 District Governor John Bond for supporting us all the way from Germantown.

The Mowrystown Lions Club's purpose is to serve our communities. The club is seeking new members. Their next meeting is Monday, Aug. 14 at 6:30 p.m. at the Old Y Restaurant.
