Mowrystown Chop Shop closes after 3 years

After three years on West Main Street, Mowrystown Chop Shop has closed.

Owner Danny Roberts, a Whiteoak High School and Cincinnati School of Barbering graduate, marked his last day at the shop on Thursday, April 30.

Existing and new customers can continue to see Roberts, who is now cutting hair at Uncle Buck’s Barber Shop in Hillsboro.

“This will be a great opportunity,” Roberts told The Highland County Press. “I want to thank everyone for their support and hope to see them in Hillsboro.”

Uncle Buck’s is closed Sunday and Monday and is open 9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday; 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. Thursday; and 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. Saturday. For more information, Roberts can be reached at the shop at (937) 393-2264.
