Maya Swartz and Mitchell Scott plan spring wedding

Maya Swartz and Mitchell Scott are planning a spring wedding.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Donnetta Swartz of Bethel and Clayton Swartz of Charleston, W.Va.

Maya graduated from Bethel-Tate High School in 2007 and went on to study at Point Loma Nazarene University and Saint Xavier University, graduating magna cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree in graphic design. She currently works at The Dickey Group Inc. Realtors in Hillsboro as a client service manager, handling marketing.

The groom is the son of Nancy and Sam Scott of Hillsboro.

Mitchell graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1999 and Southern State Community College with an associate's degree in business management in 2001.

He is now a finish specialist/Cincinnati ML Campbell sales representative at Distributors Service Incorporated in Cincinnati.

The couple plans to wed on May 16, 2014 in Cincinnati, after which, they will honeymoon in Progreso, Yucatan and Cozumel, Mexico.
