Margaret's Memories to host Christmas open house Nov. 23

Sharon Fulkerson, owner of yarn shop Margaret’s Memories, will host a Christmas open house Friday, Nov. 23 from 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
The shop is located at 220 West Beech Street in Hillsboro. In addition to yarn, Margaret’s Memories features needles and cross-stitch and crocheting supplies. Handmade items such as sweaters, scarves, hats, gloves and socks, made by Fulkerson and four other local crafters, are also sold. All of the products sold feature yarn from Fulkerson’s shop.

Fulkerson also offers knitting and crocheting classes throughout the year. With the shop in its ninth year, Fulkerson said the store continues to be the fulfillment of a lifelong dream for her and her late mother, the store’s namesake.
