Margaret’s Memories to hold annual open house

Sharon Fulkerson, owner of yarn shop Margaret’s Memories, will host her annual Christmas open house Friday, Nov. 29 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 30 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
The shop is located at 220 West Beech Street in Hillsboro. In addition to high-quality yarn, Margaret’s Memories features needles and cross-stitch and crocheting supplies.

Margaret’s Memories also features a variety of handmade gifts for purchase, including winter accessories, dryer balls, crocheted animals and baby items. Gifts are made by Fulkerson, Irene Martin and Valerie Altman.
Fulkerson offers knitting and crocheting lessons throughout the year as well as “sit and knit” events. Call (937) 763-1831 to set up an appointment or to find out “sit and knit” dates and times.
With the shop in its 10th year, Fulkerson said the store continues to be the fulfillment of a lifelong dream for her and her late mother, the store’s namesake.
