Margaret Peterson Haddix signs copies of new book 'Under Their Skin'

EBER – New York Times best-selling author and Fayette County native Margaret Peterson Haddix graced Miami Trace Elementary School with her presence on Tuesday, Dec. 15 to discuss her previous books and her upcoming book, “Under Their Skin,” to be released Jan. 5, 2016.
Haddix has been visiting Washington Court House for 20 years with the help of the Carnegie Public Library, which she frequented as a child.
Anne Quinn and other members of the Carnegie Public Library, with the help of the Miami Trace schools, organized the event for Haddix and her fans.
Books and More sold and donated books to fans present for the event. Haddix’s upcoming book also was available for those present to purchase for an early copy.
Haddix signed books, informed her fans about her newest books, and held a question-and-answer session with her fans.
Many Miami Trace Elementary students were present at the event and showed enthusiasm for Haddix and her books. Haddix and those involved in the organization of the event did an excellent job in fostering an atmosphere of appreciation for good literature and reading, both vital in the education of today’s youth.
