Thanks to a terrific turnout of talented folks of all ages, Magic Waters Theatre was able to cast an entire summer of entertainment in just one weekend! All of the people cast in the plays are local folks from Highland, Ross, Pike, Brown, and Fayette Counties.
Magic Waters' first play of the season (June 11, 12, 13) is a beautiful religious drama, "Consider the Lilies," presented by Maranatha Productions of Pennsylvania. All three of the remaining shows will feature the talented folks who came out for auditions this past weekend. Tony Copper has written two new plays especially for Magic Waters: an interactive murder mystery, "Sherlock Holmes' American Cousin in the Adventure of the Walking Corpse" (June 18-July 11), and a modern "Hansel and Gretel" (July 16-Aug. 1). He has also adapted "Hamlet" especially for the Magic Waters stage (Aug. 13-29). The shows are lots of fun, economical evenings for and by area folks!
