Jim Faust-
The Lynchburg Lions Club held its regular monthly dinner meeting July 30 at the Lions Club Building. Following the meal, Lions President Bob Roth welcomed special guests of the club, who presented a program.

The guests were the leaders of the local Boy Scouts. The Lions Club sponsors all three of the Boy Scout groups, including the Troop, the Cub Scouts and the Crew. The discussion included an update on the new guidelines for involving girls in Boy Scouting. The Cub Scouts are currently including girls, and the Troop will be eligible to include girls in 2019.
