Lynchburg Lions Club holds February meeting

The Lynchburg Lions Club held its regular monthly dinner meeting on Feb. 24 at the Lions Club building. Following the meal, the program was presented by representatives of Digital Works in Lynchburg.

The company provides job training and placement in customer service positions. It provides people the opportunity for specialized job training, and a job is guaranteed to anyone who completes the training portion of the program. The program was presented by Joel Pierre and Jeremy Shaffer.

The Lions conducted various items of business and made plans for several upcoming events. The club will host the Zone 3 dinner meeting on March 19 at the LAJFAD community room and the "Peace Poster" student winners and their families on March 24 at the Lions building.
