The Lynchburg Lions Club donated to two area organizations during recent meetings.
The club held its regular monthly dinner meeting June 24 at the Lions Club building in Lynchburg. Following the meal, the members enjoyed a program presented by Rich and Ruth Crabtree.

The Crabtrees direct the Because He Lives food pantry in Lynchburg. This is an extensive food distribution center that reaches dozens of families each week. They outlined the procedures and functions of the overall program.
The Lynchburg Lions Club presented the Crabtrees with a check to be used to help with the food pantry project in the area.
On July 8, during their monthly dinner meeting, members enjoyed a program presented by Richard Warner and Kelli Rosselott, who serve as the president and executive director, respectively, for the local Habitat for Humanity program in Highland County.
Warner and Rosselott outlined the procedures and functions of the overall program, and they discussed the new Habitat home that is currently being built in Lynchburg.
