Lynchburg Lions accept new member

The Lynchburg Lions Club welcomed another new member at their dinner meeting on Feb. 23.

Lion Casey Smith was officially installed by Lion Charles Newland. Lion Newland is a member of the Leesburg Lions Club, and he serves the entire District 13-J as First Vice Governor.

Lion Casey was sponsored by Lion Jim Faust. Lion Smith is the principal at Lynchburg-Clay Middle School, and the club is very happy to have him become a member.

The Lynchburg Lions Club meets each month on the second and fourth Mondays at 7 p.m. at the Lions Building on Sharpsville Road. Anyone interested in becoming a Lion is welcome to attend a meeting and discuss membership with any Lion.
