Lynchburg High School class of 1965 holds 50-year reunion

The Lynchburg High School class of 1965 recently held its 50th reunion at McCoy's party barn near Wilmington.

There were 41 in attendance, which included graduates, guests and four teachers. The teachers attending were Dan Raisch, June Roush, Bob Walker and Frances Wilkin.

Recognition was given to the 15 deceased class members.

Two unique features about this class are: They were the last and largest class graduating from Lynchburg High School and there were the same number of graduates (65) as the graduation year.

Everyone enjoyed the delicious meal prepared by McCoy's Catering. The evening was spent reviewing class memorabilia and visiting with old friends.
