Lynchburg First Church of Christ to celebrate 180th anniversary Sept. 28-29

Lynchburg First Church of Christ will celebrate its 180th anniversary with homecoming services Sept. 28 and Sept. 29.

The church is located at 140 Sycamore Street, Lynchburg.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. for fellowship and memory sharing on both nights, with services starting at 7 p.m.

On Friday, Dave Myers will be preaching, with contemporary Christian music led by Martha Jones. Saturday night will include preaching by Daryl Mount and music by the Unified Christian Men’s Choir, led by Bob and Meda Pittser.
