Members of the Lynchburg-Clay FFA participated in the Veterinary Science Career Development Event (CDE).

In order to advance, students had to take an online knowledge test and place in the top 150 students in the state.

Kara Williams advanced to compete at the state level contest. During this event, students worked individually to demonstrate their technical competency with small and large animals by completing critical-thinking scenario questions, identification of various species and breeds and hands-on practicums. Kara placed 140th in the state. Great job, Kara.
