Local youths win at Wilmington College Little International Showmanship Contest

On Saturday, April 13, three Highland County youths competed at the Wilmington College Little International Showmanship Contest. Over 250 youths competed in the event.

Brianna Purvis competed in all four species and won Grand Champion Senior Beef Showman. Emma Yochum showed cattle and lambs and was named Grand Champion Junior Beef and Lamb Showman. Connor Yochum showed cattle and lambs and was named Grand Champion Beginner Showman.
