Local families benefit from GE Easter Food Basket Project

The 2014 GE Easter Food Baskets campaign exceeded all goals and expectations by providing Easter meals for over 140 Highland County families. 

The General Electric Peebles Test Operation Employees Volunteer & Elfun Organizations, in cooperation with the Highland County Samaritan Outreach Center and the Fur, Feather & Friends 4-H group, combined resources to make Easter special for Highland County families by collecting, packaging and distributing Easter baskets filled with food and Easter eggs and candy. 

A special thanks is extended to Community Markets, Walmart and Save-A-Lot for their continued support.
