Local author publishes 'The Horse's Prodigy'

Local author Blaze Strain of Allensburg has published a book, "The Horse's Prodigy," through Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc.

The book tells the story of the Billiard family and the horse that brought their family together.

Strain was born in Pennsylvania and spent most of his life there until relocating to Highland County. He has always enjoyed writing poetry and short stories; this book, however, is his first published work.
