Local activity professionals honored during Bell Gardens Place luncheon

Bell Gardens Place in Hillsboro held a recognition luncheon to honor area activity professionals during Activity Professionals Week.

Each person who attended enjoyed a wonderful meal and received a plaque and flowers in honor of their dedication and service.

Michael Bradford, Executive Director of Bell Gardens Place, said it was an honor to recognize these professionals who do so much to enrich the lives of seniors at their residences.

Shelia Swafford, Activities Director (LEC) for Bell Gardens Place, was among those honored.

“Shelia has done a wonderful job and is a real asset to our community,” Bradford said. “She is a leader in enriching the lives of seniors at Bell Gardens.”
