The Lynchburg Lions Club held its monthly dinner meeting Feb. 24 at the Lions Club Building in Lynchburg.
The February program was presented by Lion Chris Hamlin, representing the Lynchburg Historical Society. Hamlin presented a detailed history of the famous Freiburg and Workum Distillery that was a prominent part of the history of Lynchburg.
The club thanks Hamlin for an excellent, informative program.
The Lynchburg Lions Club holds its regular business meeting on the second Monday of each month, and the dinners are held on the fourth Monday. The dinner meetings are accompanied by an educational program.
