The Laurels of Hillsboro, located on state Route 50 in Hillsboro, celebrated their 25th anniversary with a ribbon cutting from the Highland County Chamber of Commerce, along with family, friends and members of the community, on Thursday, Nov. 14.

The Laurels of Hillsboro is owned and operated by Ciena Healthcare and is located at 175 Chillicothe Ave., Hillsboro, Ohio 45133.

The Laurels of Hillsboro is for individuals who need long-term care and short-term sub-acute rehabilitative services. It offers high-quality care in a state-of-the-art community with modern-living amenities and hospitality.
 
“The Laurels of Hillsboro offers skilled nursing, which covers 24/7-hours care for our residents,” said Doug Heims, Administrator. “We have short-term and long-term beds. Outpatient therapy, we offer accelerated care plus with our therapy program, along with diathermy. We have wound management. We also offer respite stays and admit from home programs.”
 
The Laurels gave a special thank-you to the community for supporting them for 25 years and to the families who trust them with their family members.
