On Thursday, Oct. 24 the Highland County Chamber of Commerce joined LaRosa's in celebrating the one-year anniversary of opening their Hillsboro location.
After acquiring the building at 589 Harry Sauner Road, owner Tim O'Hara remodeled and opened for business Oct. 22, 2018. In a town known for a lot of options, opening up another pizza place was a risk, but a year later business is good.
While LaRosa's is a pizzeria, they offer so much more. Whether you're looking for pasta, sandwiches, salads or chicken wings they have it all. The dining room has both tables and booths to comfortably accommodate the whole family. You can also watch your favorite team on the TVs throughout the dining room while enjoying Coke products and a full bar.
Stop in Mondays and Tuesdays and enjoy all you can eat "Spaghetti-a-Plenty,” and on Wednesdays kids 10 and under can "Make-n-Bake" their own one-topping kid's pizza. They can build their own pizza right at the table, and it'll be cooked and enjoyed with a drink and cookie or Go-Gurt for just $3.99.
If you're on the go, order by phone, app or online for carryout or delivery. The delivery area will soon be expanding to New Vienna.
Many people question calling a 513 area code to order a pizza in Hillsboro, which O'Hara explained. All orders are taken by Guest Service representatives at one centralized location. These individuals focus on nothing but orders and customer service. The orders are sent directly to whichever location is chosen for the pickup or delivery within seconds of order submission to be made locally. This frees up the kitchen staff to make fresh, delicious foods without the interruption of answering phones.
LaRosa's is focused on giving back to the communities, whether it's helping local schools fundraise with Buddy Cards or providing lunches to their fellow businesses, nonprofit organizations and neighbors.
