Kids & Company drama camp registration under way

Applications are being accepted now for the 20th annual Kids & Company Drama Camp, set for Aug. 11-15 at the Wilmington College Kelly Center.

This weeklong theatre intensive camp welcomes children 11 to 17 years of age and meets from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. The week’s activities will conclude with a special Friday afternoon performance at 5 p.m. in the Heiland Theater for their family and friends.

This year’s camp will be led by Lois A. Hock, Professor of Theatre at Wilmington College, and Ken and Tara Lydy, also from Wilmington College. Guest artists and drama camp staff will teach special sessions during the week on acting, stage combat, dance, singing, theatre games, costumes and makeup.

An application and participation fee of $140 is required and must be mailed and received by Aug. 8. Enrollment is limited to 40 participants, so send in your application as soon as possible.
