This year, KAMP Dovetail is celebrating 35 years of bringing together kids with disabilities and motivated volunteers to spend a fun-filled week camping and sharing time together. Over the years, we have experienced joys and losses, but we have kept going and growing.
During the third week of June, we have “Gone Country,” visited “Hollywood,” been through “Training” and “Boot Camp,” traveled “Around the World,” gotten our “Game On,” been “Under the Sea” and so much more. This year, we are planning to have a sweet time at “Candy Camp.”
In the coming years, we hope to continue to provide kids with a once-in-a-lifetime fun experience and volunteers with the joy of helping others. We would like to thank every person who has volunteered time, money, materials and prayers over the years to support us.
We would like to invite the public to come out during our week of KAMP Dovetail, June 20-24 at Rocky Fork Lake State Park. We have lots of fun events planned for the week.

On Monday night, we will be kicking off the evening with our opening ceremony at 7 p.m. at the Amphitheater, then dancing with Blue Steel and concluding the evening at 9:30 p.m. with fireworks.
On Wednesday, June 22 at 7 p.m., we will hold our annual auction and carnival. If you have items to donate, bring them out to KAMP Dovetail before 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The community is invited to bring a lawn chair and come out for a fun-filled evening.
