In its continued efforts to raise money for Camp Itawa, the adults with disabilities self-advocacy group JUMP (Just Us Making Progress) will be selling raffle tickets for a chance to win a beautiful pen and ink drawing of the old Hillsboro High School drawn by local artist Roger L. Brown.
The print includes a certificate of authenticity, signed by the artist and numbered limited edition. It is the fifth of only 850 prints. The print is dated 2007.
This year marks the seventh year for Camp Itawa, the Highland County-based camp for adults with disabilities, sponsored by JUMP. The camp is a four-day event held at Fort Hill Christian Camp near Sinking Spring and is open to Clinton, Adams and Brown County residents as well.

Each year, Jordan Freeze, coordinator of JUMP and Camp Itawa, holds fundraisers to generate the funds needed to be able to offer this camp.
Freeze said one of the biggest fundraisers held each year is a Poker Run, sponsored by the Eagle Riders of the Hillsboro Eagles Aerie 1161. This event raises nearly $2,000 each year, paying the costs for over 20 volunteers who make Camp Itawa possible.
