John, Virginia Howsman to celebrate 70th wedding anniversary

John (Jack) and Virginia (Fetters) Howsman of Leesburg will celebrate 70 years of marriage on May 15.

They were married May 15, 1948 at the United Methodist Church parsonage, and the ceremony was officiated by Rev. C. A. Arthur.



The Howsmans have two children: a son, Richard (Lorilla) Howsman of Greenfield, and a daughter, Lisa (Bill) Ross of Cincinnati. They have four grandchildren: Melody (Kyle) Bennett of Greenfield, Brad (Mandy) Howsman of Savannah, Ga., Amberley Ross of Cincinnati and William Ross of Batavia; and ten great-grandchildren: Brylan Ross of Cincinnati, Austin, Brooke and Makayla Bennett of Greenfield and Titus, Gavin, Zachary, Gage, Brody and Alex of Savannah, Ga.
