Joe, Cheryl Garvie to celebrate 50th anniversary

Joe and Cheryl (Shaffer) Garvie will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 6.

United in marriage at the Fairview Church of Christ in 1966, the two have made the Lynchburg area their home.

Together they have three children: Susan (Garvie) Weldishofer, J. Matthew Garvie and Gregory Garvie, along with a grandson, Christopher.

A reception will be held in the Garvies’ honor at the Allensburg Church of Christ fellowship hall on Saturday, Aug. 6. Friends and loved ones are invited to come and share in the celebration between 2-5 p.m. No gifts are requested.

Cards are welcome and can be brought to the celebration or mailed to 6680 Abernathy Road, Lynchburg, Ohio 45142.
