Joe, Carolyn Wise to celebrate 50th anniversary

Joe and Carolyn (Dickey) Wise will celebrate their 50th anniversary on Aug. 21.

They were married Aug. 21, 1965 at the Hillsboro United Methodist Church with the Rev. Clarence Wamsley officiating.

Joe is retired from the Highland County Sheriff’s Office, and Carolyn is retired from Hillsboro Ford. The Wises have two children, Laura (Doug) Saylor and Lisa (Jim) Leeth; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
