Homeless Shelter announces upcoming fundraisers

The Highland County Homeless Shelter has announced two upcoming fundraisers.

The community is invited to dine at Gold Star Chili, 585 Harry Sauner Rd, Hillsboro on Wednesday, March 11 from 4-9 p.m.

Bring in a flyer (pictured), show it on your smartphone or mention this fundraiser to the cashier, and Gold Star Chili will donate 15 percent of your check to the Highland County Homeless Shelter. 

The Hillsboro Peebles Department Store has selected the Highland County Homeless Shelter for their community counts program.

From March 1-31, Peebles will be collecting monetary donations for the Highland County Homeless Shelter. In exchange for your generosity, Peebles will be giving customers a valuable 40-percent off coupon.
