Holiday exhibits, special events at Highland House Museum

Highland House Museum is currently featuring several exhibits for the holiday season.

Mary Kier has donated a 100-piece Santa Claus exhibit with collectibles of all sizes and shapes.

Dorothy Hodson has also loaned her teddy bear collection to the museum for the holiday season.

In addition, 14 decorated Christmas trees can be seen throughout the museum.

The holiday exhibits will run through Dec. 21, with extended hours Thanksgiving weekend. The museum is open on Saturday and Sunday from 1-4 p.m. The museum will also open for visitors on Friday, Nov. 7 and Friday, Dec. 5 for HUBA's First Friday events from 5-8 p.m.

A holiday gift shop is also open at the museum and features antiques, handmade items, Christmas decorations and many more gift ideas for the holiday season.

Other upcoming holiday events include Moonlight Madness and Black Friday Christmas shopping. The gift shop will be open from 6 p.m.-midnight on Nov. 27 and from 1-4 p.m. on Nov. 28.
