Hillsboro Woman’s Club hears presentation on Leesburg train depot restoration

Hillsboro Woman’s Club heard a program from Nicole Friend of the Leesburg Area Historical Society during their September meeting.

Friend spoke about the Society’s efforts to restore Leesburg’s train depot, which is over 100 years old. For more information or to get involved, visit: https://www.leesburghistory.org/depot.html.

The Club also named their officers for 2022-24: president, Virginia Purdy, who also hosted the September meeting; secretary, Donna Armstrong; and treasurer, Betty Ann Walker.
