Hillsboro Lions Club begins annual candy sale

The Hillsboro Lions Club’s 26th annual candy sale has begun, with the store located at 231 North High Street, Hillsboro.

The candy store is open Monday through Saturday, 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. The store will be open through Dec. 24 and will be closed on Thanksgiving.

Candy, homemade fudge and nuts are sold per pound and can be ordered by calling (937) 403-1166. Cookbooks and corn brooms are also available for purchase.

All profits from the annual project enable the club to provide assistance to children and adults in the local community.

If you are interested in learning more about the Lions or becoming a member, ask any Hillsboro Lion.
