Hillsboro class of 1968 celebrates 50th reunion

The Hillsboro High School graduating class of 1968 held its 50th reunion the weekend of Sept. 21-22.

Classmates gathered for a tailgate party before the homecoming game Friday evening. Some toured the new school facilities Saturday afternoon. Many visited with local friends and family during the day. The festivities culminated with dinner and socializing at the Elks on Saturday evening, including an informative slideshow of historic places in Hillsboro and music by Ron’s DJ service.

Committee members for the event were Joyce Haley Holt, Joyce Walker Baker, Connie Yarger Hanna, Marilyn Wharton, Nancy Gotherman Avedisian, Janice Bayless Smith, Jim Rooney and Mike and Sharon Yochum.
