Highland Humane Society is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for community leaders passionate about animal welfare to join its esteemed Board of Directors.
As we continue to expand our impact and uphold our mission of compassion and advocacy for animals, we are seeking dedicated individuals to contribute their expertise and leadership.
Board members play a crucial role in guiding the strategic direction of the Humane Society. They provide oversight, governance and support to ensure the organization achieves its goals effectively. We are looking for individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences who are committed to promoting animal welfare and advancing our mission.
Ideal candidates will possess a strong passion for animal welfare, leadership experience in business, nonprofit management, law, finance, marketing or other relevant fields. Previous board or volunteer experience is valued but not required. We encourage candidates from diverse backgrounds and perspectives to apply.
Joining the Board of Directors offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on animal welfare in our community. Board members collaborate closely with the Executive Director to shape policies, programs and fundraising efforts that directly benefit animals in need.
