Highland Humane Society, Press Release

Highland Humane Society is calling on the community to help make a difference in the lives of animals in need. Your support is vital to ensuring the continued care, rescue and adoption of cats and dogs throughout the region.

Every year, the Highland Humane Society works tirelessly to save animals from homelessness, neglect and abuse. From caring for vulnerable kittens and senior pets to providing medical treatment and finding loving homes, the organization’s mission is fueled by community generosity.

Highland Humane Society’s mission is to provide a nurturing temporary home and essential medical treatment to adoptable cats and dogs. We are dedicated to finding these lovable companions a place where they will thrive, while also fostering a greater awareness of humane treatment for all animals. As a nonprofit organization governed by a passionate volunteer Board of Directors, we operate independently, without funding or control from local, state or national bodies. Our work relies solely on the generosity of our adopters, donors and bequests.
