Highland House Museum decorated for holiday season

Before the Highland House Museum closes for the season on Dec. 18, the community is encouraged to stop by to enjoy the holiday decorations.

This year’s decoration theme is “snowmen.”

Coordinated by Arlene Huffman, every room in the museum features a decorated tree by individuals or organizations from Highland County.

There are 14 decorated Christmas trees, along with other snowmen and holiday decorations featured throughout the museum.

The museum is located at 151 East Main Street, Hillsboro and is open Fridays from 1-5 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 1-4 p.m.
