The Highland County Senior Citizens Center’s Pancake Extravaganza with the Easter Bunny & Friends that took place on March 28 with over 500 people attending, brought in a little over $3,000 for the center.
Special events are fundraisers for the senior center, a non-profit organization, but are also opportunities for the community, of all ages, to have a great time and share positive memories with the center’s membership.
The event was possible because of our wonderful volunteers, sponsors and our community. We appreciate everyone’s support and generosity. We had a great time.
Pictures from the event are ready to be picked up at the senior center Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Any Pancake Extravaganza guests interested in the Walgreen’s photo special need to pick up their picture from the senior center as well.
The event had many sponsors that supported the event. NCB Bank sponsored the Easter Bunny and fury friends and children’s door prizes. Other sponsors were: Kmart, Walgreens, Harsha Monument Company, US Foods, McDonald’s, Cundiff’s Flowers and Edgington Funeral Home.
