Highland County Senior Citizens Center’s annual Halloween party is Saturday, Oct. 29. Doors open at 6 p.m. Admission is $1 per person with free food and includes games, trick-or-treat, activities and one time through the haunted house. Additional times through the haunted house is $1 per time. Indoor trick-or-treat, provided by local businesses and organizations at the center is from 6-8 p.m. The haunted house is from 6-9 p.m. The costume contests for children and adults age divisions are as follows: 0-1, 2-4, 5-7, 8-10, 11-13, 14-17, 18-plus.
The contest will start about 8 p.m. No one over the age of ten dressed as a clown will be permitted at the event.
Various flavors of United Dairy Farmers ice cream, such as Cookies & Cream, Chocolate Chip Cookies Dough, Rainbow Sherbet and more will available for $1.50 per scoop.
An opportunity for win a 55” 4K LED flat screen TV will also be available. Raffle tickets are 1 for $1, six for $5, or 20 for $15. You do not need to be present to win. The drawing is Dec. 3 at the center’s annual Breakfast with Santa, the Grinch and FROZEN-like Friends event.
