Lead Summary
By
Carol Turvey-

The pet of the week is a chihuahua/beagle mix. He is approximately 4-5 years old, black and tan and weighs 15 pounds. He was found in the Walmart parking lot and turned in to us on Nov. 30. If his family is not found, he will be up for adoption. If you would like to make this dog part of your family, please contact us.

The Highland County Humane Society wants to wish everyone a very merry Christmas. We want to thank our supporters and the members of the Humane Society for another successful year.

Please remember the shelter while you are out shopping. We are always in need of supplies, such as bleach, laundry detergent, Dawn dishwashing liquid, paper towels and 13-gallon size trash bags. In the food area, we are looking for canned food for dogs and cats, Purina puppy chow, Purina cat and kitten chow and Pedigree adult dog food. Toys and treats are always welcomed.

Come out to the Highland County Humane Society and find your new furry friend. The shelter is open noon to 5 p.m. six days per week (closed Wednesdays). The shelter is located at 9331 state Route 124, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133. For more information, call 937-393-2110, visit the Humane Society Facebook, go to highcohumanesociety.com or view our dogs at www.petfinder.com.
