A warm, friendly and green welcome greeted all visitors to the Highland House Sunday, March 13 for the annual Highland County Historical Society's St. Patty's Day Brunch.

Chaired for the third consecutive year by Society member and volunteer extraordinaire Lana Daniels, the key word for the occasion was more: more green, more guests, more food, more laughter, more smiles, more conversations, more blessings, more music, more fun.

The spirit of St. Patrick was contagious.

Highland House Director Vicki Knauff declared it to be the best St. Patrick's event yet stating that it would be hard to beat another year but that we would sure try. The brunch was catered by 'All Seasons Catering' with baked goods and juices donated by members.

A beautiful print was donated by Jean Fawley and auctioned by Lowell Chambers.

A Jeannette Knauff quilt was on display to be awarded at the Fall Log Cabin Cookout with raffle tickets available and first tickets bought by past chair Pamela Nickell.

Jim Milliken of Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted's office presented Director Vicki Knauff and Board Chair Jim Rooney a commendation honoring the 50th anniversary of the Highland House. Vicki, Jim, Lana and the HCHS Board are grateful for all the support.
