Highland County fares well at State Fair Rabbit Quiz Bowl

On Saturday, July 7, members of the Highland County State Fair Rabbit Quiz Bowl Team competed and placed well.
Placing first overall in their division was the Junior Team consisting of Darby Yeager, Gage Thompson, Siarra Kipp and Destinee Kipp. Placing second overall was the Junior Team consisting of Addyston Knauff, Sydney Hooper, Madi Frazer and Katelyn Chambliss.
It was an exciting moment when both Highland County junior teams made their way through the competition brackets and had to go head-to-head against each other for first place.

The Senior Team consisting of Morgan Evans, Carter Campbell, Katie Kirk and Summer Brown placed third overall in their division.
Eight of the team members, Morgan Evans, Summer Brown, Darby Yeager, Gage Thompson, Destinee Kipp, Madison Frazer, Sydney Hooper and Katelyn Chambliss, will be recognized at the State Fair for their individual accomplishments on Aug. 3.
The Highland County State Fair Rabbit Quiz Bowl team had members from Highland Harvesters, Fur, Feathers, & Friends, Ag-N-Stuff, Young Atomic Farmers and Highland County Unlimited 4-H Clubs. The teams were coached by Stephanie Thompson, Kelley Yeager, Kevin Hooper, Sandy Kipp and Kim Roush.
