Highland County Chamber Golf Outing a success

Earning first-place honors in the Highland County Chamber of Commerce’s 34th annual golf outing was the team sponsored by Southern Ohio Retrofoam. The Highland County Chamber of Commerce hosted its 34th annual golf outing on Friday, Sept. 20, at Buckeye Hills Country Club in Greenfield. Thirty-six teams and over 50 volunteers took the course for a day full of golf, networking and fun.

Hunter Consulting Company was the title sponsor of this year’s event. Proceeds from the outing allow the Chamber to support its initiatives of advocating for the business community while promoting economic and community development.

Wes Robertson, Seth Brose, Josh Newkirk and Rob Hatton, sponsored by Southern Ohio Retrofoam, finished as the winning team.

Second-place honors went to Peoples Bank with team members Rich Vaughna, JR Jones, Tom Mullett and Phil Pilon. Third-place honors went to Wilmington Savings Bank with team members Wayne Bowman, Jesse Griffith, Bob Schaad and Nathan VanWinkle. The longest putt winners were Floyd Roades and Amatha Farrens. Joe Bryan and Amy McClellan were the longest-drive winners.
