Highco drama team participates in class at SSCC

On Thursday, Jan. 16, five members of the Varieteers, Highco’s drama team based at Hills and Dales Training Center, and their director, Charlie Miller, were invited to observe and participate in a drama class at Southern State Community College.

Jean Ann Jones, Connie Compher, Tonya Harmon, Courtney Adams, and Erin Compher all had a great time observing the class taught by Rainee Angles.

Afterward, they were asked to participate with the students in several drama exercises of pantomime and also learn the difference between pantomime and mime.

Rainee and her students made everyone feel very welcome. They also shared a lot with us to bring back and use in our own drama group.
