HCHS hosts successful St. Patrick's Day Brunch

“Irish eyes were smiling” when the Highland County Historical Society hosted their first event of the year, the St. Patrick’s Day Brunch, on Sunday, March 15.
The Highland House was “green” with potted shamrocks, derby hats and beautiful pictures of Ireland. Approximately 90 people enjoyed a delicious brunch, toured the museum and shopped at The Museum Gift Shop.

The Girl Scout Clubs of America currently have a new display in the Music Room, and The Museum Gift Shop has new spring and Easter gift items.
A big thank-you to Kroger, Bob Evans Restaurant, Blossoms ’N Buds florists, All Seasons Catering and the museum volunteers and members who made the event such a huge success. Thank you to all community members who attended and supported this festive event.
Proceeds will be used for the utility bills and maintenance of the Highland House and Scott House.
