Greenfield National Day of Prayer set for May 5

The Greenfield Area Ministerial Association will host a National Day of Prayer May 5 at noon at the Greenfield City Building (outside weather permitting; inside if inclement).
The event will include prayers led by Pastor Tim Mohon of the First Baptist Church, Pastor Darrell Dowd of Living Faith Tabernacle and Pastor Mike Anderson of New Directions and the Good Shepherd United Brethren Church; music led by Pastor Mike Anderson; and a proclamation read by Greenfield City Council member Betty Jackman.
In addition to the aforementioned pastors, there will be scripture readings by Pastor Jim Groves of the First United Methodist Church, Pastor Phil Malone of the South Salem United Methodist Charge, Minister Bill Requardt of the Church of Christ, Rick Schleup of The Table & Compassion International and Pastors Robert Chroninger and Neal Reid of the Trinity Christian Union Church.
Prayers and scripture readings will focus on government officials; schools, churches and other institutions; families; the needy, homeless and imprisoned; the nation; the military; and religious freedom.[[In-content Ad]]
