Our Library Summer Reading Adventure is now history. We had 312 children, teens and adults signed up for a summer of fun.
Kids received many end-of-summer prizes, and there was an end-of-the-summer drawing for teens and adults with many great prizes.
The prize winners for the new bikes, compliments of Adena Medical Center, were Cameron Snavely, Adelynn Lane and Charlotte Morehead. Thanks to all of our donors that helped make our summer an exciting one.
Upcoming events:
• Sept. 15, noon-3 p.m. – ACCEL Temporary Services Job Fair.
• Oct. 6-Nov. 10 – Diabetes Self-Management Program. Presented by the Area Agency on Aging District 7, this program will be for six weeks on Thursdays from 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Please pre-register by Sept. 30 by calling 800-582-7277 ext. 247.
• Preschool Storytimes are held Tuesdays at 11 a.m. Activities include stories, crafts and lots of fun.
