Girl Scout Troop 321 completes project

Girl Scout Troop 321 of Hillsboro has completed their journey project as second-year cadets, donating $304 of personal care items to the Hillsboro Middle/High school counselor office for teens in need.

They also made "kindness" posters for the hallways next year.

Joni Lane from Hillsboro Schools said there were sometimes up to 20 students per day in need of something from the personal care closet. The troop would like to thank Walmart and Dr. Lesia Langston for helping them achieve their goal in this donation.
