The Gaslight Theater Players were honored to be able to assist the Brown County HERO Tribute in its quest to bring the Vietnam Memorial Wall to Brown County. The players donated the tickets sales of its Nov. 11 show, “Every Christmas Story Ever Told,” to the group.
The Players are celebrating 50 years of existence this year. In 1967, approximately 40 community members, then known as the Georgetown Players, signed a personal bank note for $4,000 to clean up the Gaslight Theater. It was in the mid-1980s that they changed their name to the Gaslight Theater Players.

The Brown County HERO Tribute will be welcoming visitors to the Memorial Wall May 11th-14th at the Brown County Fairgrounds in Georgetown.
