Lead Summary

Blair Gard-
The Fur, Feathers & Friends 4-H Club met Monday, April 12 at Bright Elementary.
Due to the size of the club, we have two meetings. The 6:30 meeting is for those taking rabbits, chickens and sheep. The 7:30 meeting is for those taking goats and hogs. Cloverbuds and special interests can attend either meeting.
The 6:30 meeting was called to order by Addy Knauff. Pledges were led by Darby Yeager. Roll call was taken, and 15 members were present. There was no secretary’s report, and Darby Yeager read the treasurer’s report. Cloverbuds were dismissed to go to their meeting.
Under old business, members are required to attend six meetings. Dues were discussed, and those taking milking and market projects are required to attend quality assurance meeting. The Rabbit Fun Show was April 10. Those that participated told how they did.
Under new business, the election of officers was held. The 6:30 meeting officers for 2021 are as follows: Madison Frazer, President; Kallie Cargo-Sharp, Vice President; Addy Knauff, Secretary; Megan Thompson, Treasurer; and Blair Gard, News Reporter.
The 4-H Camp dates were announced, and Addy Knauff told everyone how fun camp is.
Megan Thompson motioned to adjourn the meeting, and Darby Yeager seconded. Then everyone met with their project advisers.
The next meeting is Monday, May 3.
