Former Mrs. Highland County hosting prayer for marriages Aug. 27

Former Mrs. Highland County Liticia Walker will host a prayer for marriages Monday, Aug. 27 at 1:30 p.m. at the Highland County Courthouse. Pastors, members of the church community and interested citizens are invited to attend for a moment of peaceful prayer.

“Not only have I represented the married women of Ohio, but as a Christian woman, I represent Christ and all married women,” Walker said. “I believe strongly in marriage and the family unit. I believe in reconciliation and counseling for marriages headed in divorce, especially when children are involved.

“I want to invite the community and anyone that believes in marriage and the family unit to come out and pray.”
